Warwick Valley VFW Post 4662 is very pleased to announce the Grand Opening of our new Veteran and First Responder Center in Warwick !

The opening will be held on Friday, Dec 17 starting at 10 am. Our new location is at 154 Route 94 South in Warwick. The Center is attached to the Bowling Alley which is at that location and has a separate entrance adjacent to the Bowling Alley entrance.

It has been a long and challenging road to get to this point, where Veterans and First
Responders will once again have a local place to obtain information on Veteran benefits, crisis resources, mobile health units and the camaraderie that comes from reaching out to those who under-stand the difficulties associated with traumatic experiences.

Please come out and celebrate this grand opening with us. We look forward to sharing the excitement with our beloved Warwick Community who has been right there with us, supporting us every step of the way !

The new Veterans and First Responder Center is now open. Current hours are 10am to 2 pm on Mondays. If you have any issues that need addressing please visit or call our Post phone number at 845 988-8387. We are located at 154 Rt 94 South in Warwick adjacent to the Bowling Alley and across the road from the Shop Rite Shopping Plaza.

“NO ONE DOES MORE FOR VETERANS THAN THE VETERANS OF FOREIGN WARS OF THE UNITED STATES”

Who We Are:

The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) is composed entirely of wartime veterans who have been deployed overseas during times of conflict in the Armed Forces of the United States.  The VFW is dedicated to honoring the dead by serving the living.

Our post serves our fellow veterans and our local community.  We have a great membership and take pride in our camaraderie.  We understand where you've been because we've been there too.  Our members and our post Service Officer are a wealth of information on veteran's issues, dealing with the VA, available benefits—and of course we just have a good time in fellowship.

If you are a veteran who has earned a campaign medal and are interested in joining: send a message through the contact page or just show up to a meeting.  More information on eligibility is available here.

Please contact Jose' Morales, Post Commander at 845 988-8387

We are involved in our community.

Post 4662 takes great pride in our local communities.  We provide scholarships to graduating seniors at Warwick Valley, and SS Seward High Schools as well as supporting other award programs.  A portion of our fundraising efforts is passed through to various other community organizations and charities.  We are very proud of the achievements of our young people who earn the Boy Scout Eagle and Girls Scout Gold Awards.  The VFW Post hosts the Warwick Veterans Day Ceremony every year and participates in the Memorial Day services.  We partner with the American Legion to maintain the town Veterans Memorial. We have also added several FREE programs for our veterans and their families, one example being Yoga.
